1. Goat Satay

500 grams of mutton, cut into cubes
10 skewers
3 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce
2 tablespoons of cooking oil
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon ground pepper
3 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon of lime juice
Eid al-Adha special goat satay recipe

Mix soy sauce, cooking oil, salt, ground pepper, garlic, and lime juice in a bowl.
Add the pieces of mutton into the mixture, mix thoroughly and let stand for 1 hour.
Skewer the pieces of mutton on the skewers.
Grill the goat satay over coals or a grill pan until cooked, while occasionally basting it with the rest of the marinade.
Serve goat satay with rice, peanut sauce and sliced shallots.

2. Rolled Goat

If you have enough stock of goat meat, processed goat rolls can be the solution!

Ingredients

5 kg of mutton
10 bay leaves
5 stalks of lemongrass, bruised
10 cm ginger, crushed
10 cm galangal, bruised
10 grains of cardamom
10 cloves
1 tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon of ground pepper
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
10 tablespoons of cooking oil
Lime (to clean the meat)
How to cook Eid al-Adha special roast goat

Clean the mutton with lime juice. Rinse thoroughly.
Mix salt, ground pepper, ground coriander, ground cumin, and cooking oil to make a seasoning mixture.
Coat the goat meat with the seasoning mixture until evenly distributed. Leave it for at least 1 hour.
Preheat the grill or oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Skewer the lemon grass, ginger and galangal into the mutton.
Grill the mutton on the grill or in the oven for about 2-3 hours or until the meat is cooked through and lightly browned.
Once cooked, remove the mutton rolls and serve.

3. Beef Rendang

400 ml thick coconut milk
2 stalks of lemongrass, bruised

1 tablespoon of cooking oil
Ground spices

6 shallots
4 cloves garlic
4 candlenuts
2 cm ginger
2 cm turmeric
2 cm galangal
1 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon granulated pepper
How to cook Eid al-Adha beef rendang

Saute ground spices with cooking oil until fragrant.
Add beef, stir until it changes color.
Add lemongrass, lime leaves, galangal, and bay leaves. Stir well.
Pour in thick coconut milk, salt and brown sugar. Stir to boil.
Reduce the heat, cook the rendang over low heat until the meat is tender and the spices are absorbed.
Serve beef rendang with rice, lontong or ketupat.
