1. Peking duck

In Indonesia, this typical Chinese food is very popular. There are many places to eat that serve this food. However, there’s nothing wrong if you try this food directly from the country of origin, right?

Reporting from danguisichuancuisine.com Peking duck itself is a duck dish that is processed by roasting, and seasoned with a sweet taste. This dish is usually served thinly sliced and eaten with rice/pancakes and red bean sauce.

2. Beggar’s Chicken

Beggar’s Chicken is a unique Chinese/Chinese dish made from chicken as a base. In this dish, chicken meat is processed by wrapping it in lotus leaves and clay, and forming it like a chicken bank. After wrapping, the chicken is then baked until cooked.

This chicken dish has a unique and delicious taste. This chicken dish also contains a slight earthy aroma that smells good and fresh. This dish is perfect as your lunch when in China later. To be more delicious, eat this dish together with a cup of typical Chinese tea.

3. Sanbeji

Apart from Beggar’s Chicken, China also has several other chicken dishes that are no less delicious. Sanbeiji is one of them. This dish is made from chicken mixed with three spices from three different bowls.

The three spices are: sweet soy sauce, lard, and rice wine. After mixing the three ingredients, the chicken will immediately be cooked in an earthenware pot over high heat for ten minutes. When it’s cooked, this chicken dish can be eaten immediately with a plate of rice or porridge.

4. La Ji Zi (Laziji)

For those who like spicy chicken dishes, we really recommend this dish for you. La Ji Zi itself happens to have the meaning of “dried spicy chicken”. In this food, chicken meat is processed by cutting it first.

After being cut into cubes, the chicken is immediately fried dry and given a spicy seasoning made from Sichuan chilies, dried chilies, garlic, soy sauce, salt and other spices. La ji zi has a soft texture, and has a spicy, sweet and savory taste.

5. Wontons

This food looks like dumplings that we usually encounter in Indonesia. If dumplings are usually served with broth, then this one is actually served with a bowl of soup. Wonton itself is made from minced shrimp or fish wrapped in dumpling skin.

The dumpling skin used in this food is made from the basic ingredients of wheat flour. The basic ingredients will then be mixed together with water and table salt, thinned, and cut into square sizes. In China, you can find this food in several areas, such as in Shanghai, Ningbo and Sichuan.
